
Want the taste of falafel without the work? I got you!
These chickpeas taste identical to a traditional falafel. Put them in a wrap with greens and veggies or atop a salad.
Ingredients:
🌱2 cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
🌱2 tablespoons of lemon juice
🌱1 teaspoon of maple syrup
🌱1 teaspoon of soy sauce
🌱2 teaspoons of paprika
🌱2 teaspoons of cumin
🌱1 teaspoon of garlic powder
🌱1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
🌱salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
▪️Put olive oil in pan followed by the chickpeas
▪️Heat them up for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently
▪️Mix together lemon juice, maple airy up and soy sauce and pour over chickpeas
▪️Stir to coverall chickpeas for 30 seconds
▪️Mix in all of the spices with the chickpeas and stir to combine. Heat for 30 seconds.
Turn off heat and serve!
